Job summary

Worldpay in London is looking for a Technical Lead, Agentic Commerce Engineering to shape the infrastructure for autonomous commerce, enabling AI agents to discover products, build carts, and initiate purchases with secure, scalable payments.

You will lead hands-on architecture reviews, drive platform standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, real-time transaction flows at global scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including distributed services.
• Strong cloud experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven leadership in architecture reviews and mentoring.
• Experience designing API-first platforms with clear contracts.
• Familiarity with AI agent systems and secure payment flows.
