National Grid plc is seeking a Head, DWS - Endpoint Compute to lead the Endpoint Compute strategy, shaping modern digital workplace services. Based in Warwick with hybrid working, you will oversee device management, VDI, and security across Windows and Mac environments.

You’ll drive automation, modernisation and end-user experience improvements, collaborating with Cyber Security, Infrastructure & Operations, and Enterprise Architecture to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable workplace

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise endpoint computing environments.
• Strong knowledge across VDI, endpoint and device management, mobile technologies, identity and endpoint security.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix and Microsoft Defender.
• Track record of leading digital workplace transformation with automation and user experience focus.
• Strong leadership skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
• Experience managing strategic suppliers and service providers; strong commercial and vendor management.
• Good understanding of cyber security, risk and compliance in enterprise tech.

Responsabilités

• Own the Endpoint Compute strategy and roadmap, covering device management, VDI, mobile services and endpoint technologies.
• Drive modernisation and innovation with automation to improve user experience, security and efficiency.
• Lead endpoint services across Windows/Mac devices, VDI, mobile tech, provisioning, lifecycle management, patching and compliance.
• Deliver reliable, high-performing services with clear SLAs and data-driven improvements.
• Champion end-user experience for colleagues across locations and devices.
• Partner with Cyber Security to ensure security, regulatory and compliance requirements; manage vulnerabilities and risk.
• Own key supplier and commercial relationships, budgets, and vendor performance.
• Influence senior stakeholders across Digital Workplace Services, Infrastructure & Operations, Security, etc.
• Provide leadership to engineers, product owners and service managers; foster collaboration and accountability.
