Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Head of DWS - Endpoint Compute in Warwick. You will own the Endpoint Compute strategy, roadmaps and platform modernization, driving secure, reliable and high-performing endpoints for employees worldwide.

The role requires strong leadership and collaboration with security, operations and architecture teams. You’ll guide engineers, product owners and service managers, shaping technology decisions, budgets and supplier relationships while promoting automation and

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise endpoint computing environments.
• Strong knowledge across VDI, endpoint and device management.
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, M365, Azure VDI, Citrix and Defender.
• Experience transforming digital workplaces with automation and improvement.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Own the Endpoint Compute strategy and roadmap.
• Drive modernisation and automation across the platform.
• Lead endpoint services across Windows and Mac, VDI, mobile devices.
• Deliver reliable, high-performing services with clear SLAs.
• Champion end-user experience across locations and devices.
• Partner with Cyber Security to meet security and compliance.
• Own supplier relations, budgets and vendor performance.
• Influence senior stakeholders to shape technology decisions.
• Provide leadership to engineers and service managers.
