Job summary

The eCom House in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Head of eCommerce to lead its next phase of digital growth. This senior leadership role covers overall eCommerce strategy, online trading performance and ongoing development of the digital function.

You will own the eCommerce operation, drive online revenue and profitability while growing the team, refining the customer journey and maximizing the return on digital investment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading eCommerce for a retail or consumer brand with significant online revenue.
• Strong Shopify Plus experience and a deep understanding of digital trading and CRO.
• Experience managing sizeable or distributed teams.
• Excellent agency management across PPC and affiliate marketing.
• Strong analytics and performance reporting, translating data into action.
• Interest in AI with experience building or implementing AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a remote eCommerce team, including offshore resource.
• Own online trading, merchandising, conversion, AOV and promotional strategy.
• Manage external agencies, focusing on PPC and affiliate performance.

The role

You'll take ownership of the eCommerce operation, driving online revenue and profitability while developing the team, improving the customer journey and maximising the return on digital investment.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading and developing a remote eCommerce team, including offshore resource.
• Owning online trading, merchandising, conversion, AOV and promotional strategy.
• Managing external agencies, with particular emphasis on PPC and affiliate performance.
• Developing and implementing AI tools to improve team capability and create a competitive advantage.
• Overseeing the Shopify Plus platform, site experience, content and digital roadmap.
• Using data and customer insights to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
