Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Senior Digital Learning Manager to lead design, development and delivery of digital learning for social workers and leaders. You will drive accessibility, QA and platform improvements while line-managing Digital Learning Officers.

Hybrid working applies with two days a week in London, and flexibility for those outside the M25. You will collaborate across programme management and curriculum teams to enhance learner experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital learning, learning technology, e‑learning or digital content development.
• Experience leading digital learning across multiple programmes or projects.
• Experience supervising staff and supporting development.
• Experience designing and quality assuring digital learning content, including e‑learning.
• Experience applying QA processes for digital content and learning products.
• Experience implementing WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across the programme portfolio, overseeing design, development, implementation and improvement of digital learning products, content and services.
• Lead accessibility, testing and quality assurance across digital learning, including WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
• Oversee development of online learning, resources, assessments and platform-based experiences.
• Line-manage Digital Learning Officers, leading workload planning, performance and professional development.
• Oversee operation and improvement of digital learning platforms, including coordinating platform changes, testing and releases.
