A leading organization is seeking a Head of Digital Learning to innovate and implement best practices in digital learning technologies. This strategic role involves leading a team, developing a Digital Learning Strategy, and enhancing the experience of colleagues through a new Learning Management System. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in digital learning and a strong leadership background.
As the Head of Digital Learning, you will innovate and implement best practice approaches in the use of digital learning technologies to support the digital development offer for colleagues across HSE. You will work strategically with key stakeholders to identify the best uses of digital technology and to improve the experience of colleagues engaging with a newly launched Learning Management System (LMS).
You will provide strategic direction to a team of L&D specialists and supporting administrative functions, working in consultation with wider divisional areas to respond to organisational L&D needs. As a recognized expert in your field, you will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) and reference point for all digital learning workstreams, contributing to innovation that influences change and the advancement of digital and blended learning and development.
This role carries significant leadership responsibilities, including evolving a Digital Learning Strategy aligned with organisational learning priorities. You will demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all activities, leading by example and guiding your team to develop a high-quality blended learning offer for colleagues.
Working autonomously, you will identify synergies with relevant divisional areas and teams, such as wider training colleagues, IT, and finance, to develop and lead digital learning initiatives. With expert knowledge of digital learning, you will provide innovative solutions to challenges and mitigate potential risks, leveraging your insight and experience in digital and blended learning.
