Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Head of ICT & Digital include:

  1. Shaping and Leading Digital Strategy: Drive the creation and execution of a forward-thinking digital and data strategy aligned with organisational goals and sector trends.
  2. Inspiring and Managing Teams: Manage and nurture a high-performing team of digital and technology experts, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
  3. Enhancing Digital Platforms: Oversee development and optimisation of digital platforms to meet strategic objectives and user needs.
  4. Collaboration Across Teams: Work with departments and senior leadership to align digital initiatives with organisational goals.
  5. Driving Efficiency Through Technology: Leverage new technologies to improve operational efficiency and support service delivery.
  6. Leading Digital Innovation & Engagement: Implement cutting-edge digital initiatives using AI and machine learning to improve user experience and engagement.
  7. Ensuring Performance, Compliance & Security: Set goals, monitor ROI, and ensure platforms meet data protection, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.
The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years in digital strategy and data management, with 5+ years in leadership roles; experience in fast-paced, digital-first organisations, with skills in data analytics, BI, and digital tools.
  • Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, SEO, SEM, social media analytics, and familiarity with AI, machine learning, and cloud computing; a passion for staying ahead of digital trends.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills: Experience with Agile methodologies and translating complex ideas for diverse stakeholders.
  • A passion for growth and team development: Track record in building high-performing teams and understanding data protection regulations.
