About the role

Publicis Imagine, a dedicated agency within Publicis Media for Disney, seeks an experienced and visionary Head of Digital to lead Digital Services across multiple EMEA markets. Based in London, you will oversee three sub-teams: Digital Planning, Channel Leads (Programmatic, Social, Search), and Data & Technology, providing leadership to Disney and Publicis teams in London and other markets. Your role is to drive innovation, growth, and efficiency for Disney and Publicis, overseeing digital marketing across Disney’s key sectors:

  • Disney Entertainment (Streaming, Film, Theatrical, Networks)
  • Disney Parks, Experience & Products
  • ESPN

This position offers an opportunity to lead a team shaping future models for Publicis Groupe and delivering excellence in AI, media, data, technology, and innovation.

Responsibilities

About the work

Strategic Leadership
  • Set the vision for Publicis Imagine’s Digital Marketing, Data & Technology. Drive adoption and inspire teams across Disney and Publicis.
  • Align digital marketing strategies with the goals of Publicis Imagine and Disney.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to keep the agency at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance Disney’s media efficiency and effectiveness across EMEA.
Team Management
  • Lead three sub-teams within EMEA Digital Services: Digital Planning, Channel Leads, Data & Technology.
  • Mentor and guide digital specialists, overseeing daily operations, goal setting, and career development.
  • Define and optimize workflows within Digital Services and across departments.
Client Engagement
  • Build relationships with senior Disney stakeholders (Marketing Directors, VPs).
  • Monitor and improve client satisfaction within the Digital Service team.
  • Position yourself as a strategic partner to Disney in media, digital transformation, CRM, and data & technology services.
Digital Strategy
  • Oversee digital strategy outputs, seeking continuous improvement.
  • Connect disciplines to demonstrate the value of integrated work to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop scalable, tailored planning frameworks for Disney.
Partnership & Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with vendors like Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, The Trade Desk, and others.
  • Set strategic vision for collaborations to maximize value and innovation.
  • Enhance commercial efficiency through education and regional programs.
Agency Leadership
  • Contribute to Publicis Imagine’s leadership, culture, and industry innovation.
  • Ensure connectivity with the broader Publicis network, including Epsilon, Sapient, and Digitas.
Qualifications

What you need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, preferably in a media agency or similar.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior marketing stakeholders.
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge across digital channels: Search, Social, Programmatic, and cross-channel planning.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in stakeholder presentations.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on demonstrating value.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of marketing fundamentals, media planning, and measurement.
  • Knowledge of ad tech industry tools and the marketing tech stack.
  • Analytical skills to interpret large data sets and develop insights.
  • Understanding of agency commercial models and resource management.
  • Experience in the entertainment sector is a plus but not essential.
