Job summary

Talent Hub® is partnering with a well-known consumer-focused UK organisation to recruit its Head of Digital in Crawley. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and 2 days work-from-home, and leads digital strategy across multiple websites and digital services apps.

You will own the digital strategy, drive commercial growth, manage a significant budget and agency partners, and act as the business’s digital and AI champion within the senior leadership team.

Qualifications

• Senior Head of Digital / Growth level with years of senior leadership in a large organisation.
• Proven track record growing customer base, conversions and revenue.
• Experience managing a complex digital ecosystem of websites, apps and analytics platforms.
• Strong knowledge of full digital marketing mix: SEO, GEO, PPC, CRO, content, social, email.
• Hands-on with Optimizely or equivalent CMS.
• Experience with AI-driven solutions like personalization and predictive analytics with data privacy awareness.
• Highly data-literate with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush.
• Experience managing large budgets and delivering clear ROI.
• Excellent stakeholder management across all levels.

Talent Hub® is working in partnership with a well-known consumer focused UK organisation to find their Head of Digital. This Head of Digital role is a high-profile position, leading digital strategy across multiple websites and digital services apps, also being a key part of their senior leadership team.

The Role

You will own and deliver the digital strategy, driving commercial growth and a best-in-class experience for their customer base, with a key focus on new customer acquisition and growth! You will lead the digital team, manage a significant budget and agency partners, and act as the business’s digital and AI champion.

Key Responsibilities for this Head of Digital job:

• Develop and deliver the digital strategy across all websites and apps
• Lead conversion rate optimisation, with a robust, ongoing testing programme
• Own the SEO and GEO roadmap, setting KPIs and future-proofing the business for AI search
• Champion a data-first culture, with clear dashboards and actionable insight for stakeholders
• Lead, manage and develop the digital team
• Hold full accountability for the digital budget
• Manage digital agencies and technology partners, ensuring delivery on time and on budget
• Work alongside the other senior heads to deliver a cohesive strategy

For this Head of Digital job, you should have:

• Successfully worked at senior Head of Digital / Growth / Performance level for several years, for a large organisation, and successfully grown the customer base, conversions and increased revenue.
• Experience managing a complex digital ecosystem of multiple websites, apps and analytics platforms
• Proven senior digital leadership experience, with a track record of driving commercial growth.
• Strong knowledge of the full digital marketing mix, including SEO, GEO, PPC, CRO, content, social and email
• Hands-on experience with Optimizely (EPiServer) or an equivalent CMS
• Practical experience of AI-driven solutions, such as personalisation and predictive analytics, with an understanding of ethical AI and data privacy
• Highly data-literate, with expertise in GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush
• Experience managing large budgets and demonstrating clear ROI
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at every level
