Job summary

MONY Group is recruiting a Head of Data on a 12 months fixed-term contract. The role leads the Data Product and Analytics teams, shaping strategy and delivering a high-impact data programme across the group.

You will partner with the CTDO, align with product and technology, and drive automation and self-service insights to improve customer and operational outcomes. You will report to senior leadership, contribute to Exec and Board papers, and shape the data function's operating model while

Qualifications

• Essential: Proven experience leading complex Data, Analytics or Data Product teams.
• Essential: Experience setting strategy, prioritising and delivering roadmaps.
• Essential: Strong commercial judgement with data-led impact thinking.
• Essential: Broad understanding of data function including governance and self-service insight.
• Essential: Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience developing and scaling AI automation or AI-enabled analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Data Product and Data Analytics teams; drive performance and engagement.
• Set and deliver the strategy, roadmap and priorities for Data Product and Data Analytics.
• Partner with CTDO to define and deliver the Group Data strategy and operating model.
• Create a joined-up Data leadership team with aligned priorities and clear ways of working.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Operations to deliver data products and insights.
• Prioritise automation opportunities to improve efficiency and free up higher-value work.
• Ensure data products, reporting and self-service insights are trusted and scalable.
• Support the CTDO with Exec/Board reporting on progress, value, priorities and risks.
• Lead Data-wide engagement and change management; communicate strategy across the organisation.
