Job summary

Up Learn Limited in London is seeking a Head of Data to lead the data function, set strategy, and build scalable analytics foundations to support growth and AI automation.

You will own the data roadmap, improve product analytics and KPIs, and guide the data team in delivering impact across learning outcomes and school partnerships.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, equity options, and a strong mission to advance education through responsible AI and rigorous measurement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data modelling and analytics engineering using dbt.
• Experience delivering a data roadmap for growing organisations.
• Strong product analytics skills and KPI integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data roadmap and deliver it with a quarterly plan aligned to GCSE expansion and AI initiatives.
• Strengthen measurement in product processes with instrumentation, dashboards and alerts.
• Level up KPI systems for Product, Commercial and Operations.
• Lead a credible Measuring Learning impact evaluation and translate findings into priorities.
• Own responsible AI governance for learner data and privacy.
• Lead data privacy and school assurance, DPIAs and compliant data practices.
• Improve GTM visibility into funnel performance and ROI for informed decisions.
• Build a high-performance data team and maintain a scalable dbt/Lightdash stack.
