Job summary

Harnham - Data and Analytics Recruitment in London is seeking a Head of Analytics to lead a centralised Analytics & MI function. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, shaping AI-enabled analytics and data strategy across a data-rich financial services business.

Reporting to the Chief Analytics Officer, you will grow the team, oversee the migration to a new decisioning platform, and drive AI tools, governance and scalable data foundations for senior stakeholder insight.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience across Analytics, MI or Data Analytics.
• Experience managing and developing analytics teams.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable commercial recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on technical capability with SQL and Python.
• Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI).
• Experience improving data structures, reporting and analytics processes.
• Understanding of data strategy and analytics transformation.
• Experience applying AI/LLM tools within analytics.
• Knowledge of AI tooling landscape and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a centralised Analytics & MI function for Finance, Marketing and C-suite.
• Develop and coach the Analytics & MI team and overseeing platform migration.
• Drive AI adoption and governance across analytics projects.
• Shift analytics from reporting to actionable commercial insight.
• Enhance data storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
