Job summary

Citizen Housing Group in the West Midlands is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead our building safety and regulatory programmes. You will act as the competent person for landlord compliance and oversee safety obligations across our homes.

The role involves managing statutory risks, delivering £30m+ investment and servicing programmes, and engaging with regulators to assure governance and performance.

Qualifications

• A degree level or equivalent qualification in a recognised discipline in the built environment.
• CIOB level 6 in building safety (or equivalent).
• Extensive knowledge of applicable compliance and building safety legislation, guidance and standards and competencies including PAS 8673:2022.
• Knowledge of the ongoing management of safety in the built environment, with knowledge of the application of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
• Full UK driving license.

Position: Head of Compliance

Salary: £94,871

Location: 4040 Lakeside, Birmingham Business Park, B37 7YN (hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
