Head of Community

We’re a global collective of creatives, innovators & tastemakers, connecting through exclusive in-person experiences and a vibrant digital members hub.

As we expand into five new cities by the end of 2025, we’re looking for a Head of Community to lead the growth, curation, and engagement of our exceptional member base. This role is at the heart of what makes Orators unique—our people. We're seeking someone who is strategic, empathetic, and deeply attuned to what makes high-value communities thrive.

You’ll work closely with the Founder/CEO, Head of Experience & Ops and Head of Social & Content to shape the future of Orators’ member experience and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding value, engagement and NPS across our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Growth & Curation: Design and execute a strategy to grow our membership across global cities while maintaining a high bar for quality, diversity, and alignment with our values.

Onboarding & Journey Design: Lead a seamless onboarding process and design engaging lifecycle experiences that keep members inspired, connected, and involved.

Member Engagement & Programming: Participate in & contribute to our consistent calendar of digital and IRL touch points, from community rituals to exclusive experiences, that foster connection and loyalty.

Ambassador Program: Cultivate a passionate network of member-ambassadors in each city who embody the Orators ethos and support local community growth.

NPS & Feedback Systems: Own and optimise NPS across all member touch points—implement systems to gather, analyse, and act on feedback, always raising the bar.

Digital Community Management: Oversee our members-only platform to ensure it remains vibrant, valuable, and aligned with member interests.

Collaboration: Work closely with our Product, Social & Content, Experience and Ops teams/contractors to ensure a seamless, high-quality member experience across every interaction.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in community leadership, membership programs, or brand engagement—ideally within luxury, lifestyle, or high-touch experience sectors.

Proven success building and nurturing high-value, invite-only or curated communities.

Strong understanding of the motivations and mindsets of creatives, innovators, and HNWIs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you’re a connector by nature.

Data-informed mindset with experience using NPS and other feedback loops to drive strategy.

Comfortable in start-up environments: hands-on, proactive, and energized by growth.
