Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Head of Commercial Operations to drive profitable growth across UK & Nordics Services. You will lead commercial excellence, optimise tendering and bid processes, and act as the primary link between service centres, Sales and leadership.

Hybrid/remote work with regular regional travel is expected. The role requires extensive experience in commercial leadership within a technical/engineering B2B environment, with a focus on long-term service agreements, data-driven

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading commercial operations in a complex B2B/engineering environment.
• Proven track record in managing long-term service agreements and multi-year contracts.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience driving commercial improvements and growth initiatives at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of commercial excellence strategies to strengthen sales effectiveness.
• Expand Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) in collaboration with Sales and Operations.
• Centralise and standardise tendering, proposal management and bid processes.
• Act as the key commercial link between service centres, Sales, and leadership.
• Provide commercial leadership through performance analysis, forecasting and process optimisation.
