Sulzer is seeking a Head of Commercial Operations in Birmingham to lead commercial excellence, governance of long‑term service agreements, and cross‑functional collaboration across the UK & Nordics Services. The role aims to enhance sales effectiveness, profitability, and customer value while aligning with Sales, Operations, and Service Centre teams.

You will drive tendering centralisation, forecast visibility, and data‑driven decision making.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience with long-term service agreements and multi-year contracts.
• Experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, or senior commercial leadership in complex B2B/engineering environments.
• Proven track record delivering strategic commercial initiatives to grow revenue and profitability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with CRM, forecasting, and data analytics.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills across senior leadership.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and execution of commercial excellence strategies to strengthen sales effectiveness and customer value.
• Champion LTSA growth with Sales, Operations and Service Centre leaders for profitable expansion.
• Centralise tendering, proposals, and bid processes to improve efficiency and win rates.
• Serve as the key commercial link between service centres, Sales, Operations and leadership teams.
• Provide commercial leadership through performance analysis, pipeline visibility, forecasting and process optimisation.
