I am very excited to be partnering with this retail organization, which is undergoing rapid expansion. This vacancy is new to the business, and you will be responsible for shaping the future of the commercial function.

As a Head of Commercial Finance, you will be the key financial partner to the Operations team, providing commercial analysis and business support to operational management. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Acting as a business partner to the COO and Regional Management teams.
2. Producing and delivering budgets, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
3. Identifying root causes of variances and driving operational improvement plans to achieve profitability.
4. Collaborating with the finance business partner and FC to monitor KPIs monthly and annually.
5. Providing market and competitor analysis and insights monthly.
6. Reporting on financial performance and key issues at monthly Operations Board meetings.
7. Monitoring store spending and working with operations to address variances.
8. Providing insights and analysis on key performance aspects to highlight issues and promote improved behaviors.
