Lanesra Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Head of Commercial to oversee the @one Alliance framework. The role focuses on directing the commercial function, estimating and programme management across a portfolio of projects valued at £600m–£750m over five years.

The position offers hybrid working in Peterborough, a competitive salary (£105k-£120k DOE), car/allowance, bonus and a comprehensive benefits package for a senior professional in the water sector.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior quantity surveying or commercial role.
• Experience leading teams and driving commercial outcomes.
• Track record delivering large-scale programmes (£600m–£750m) in construction/utilities.
• Educated to degree level and experienced in commercial contracting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategic plans for the Business Unit.
• Lead the commercial function to deliver the Alliance and Unit objectives.
• Support procurement models to drive value and proper behaviours.
• Support estimating models for project lifecycles and cost capture on closure.
• Be accountable for commercial performance and P/L within the Budget.
• Foster a commercially aware culture and build strong stakeholder relationships.
