Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Head of Business Development in Kendal, Cumbria, to own strategic OEM relationships and drive growth across the pumps division. The role targets major OEM customers and demands senior commercial acumen in a technical engineering context.

You will own account strategies, lead negotiations and shape new market opportunities, with a salary up to £60,000 DOE plus pension and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior BDM, KAM or commercial professional with background in pumps or technical engineering environment.
• Experience developing OEM or industrial customer relationships is required.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Confident dealing with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop strategic OEM customer relationships.
• Drive profitable growth across the pumps division.
• Identify new customers, markets and opportunities.
• Develop account and market growth strategies.
• Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations.
• Manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
• Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events.
