Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Head of Business Development Excellence to lead a group-wide approach to BD, developing best-in-class processes, market insights, and governance to drive sustainable growth across the Culina Group.

You will head a team, collaborate with commercial leads, and champion customer-centric strategies, ensuring high-quality tenders and robust commercial governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior commercial / sales role, ideally in supply chain.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end sales processes and bid management for RFI and RFQ tenders.
• Strong analytical and research capability.
• Excellent project and programme management skills.
• Familiarity and experience in the UK logistics market.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and standardise business development enablement materials and core sales tools.
• Lead market intelligence and customer insight development to inform priorities.
• Define customer segmentation frameworks and pricing guidelines to support governance.
• Lead the development of the Group’s BD strategy and growth opportunities.
• Head and develop a bid management function to support large tender activity.
