Job Purpose: -

Following sustained growth over the last 5 years, we require a Head of Business Development to drive sales and marketing activities aligned with our key objectives. The role involves developing and overseeing our commercial strategy, working with Directors to prioritize and execute projects to facilitate growth.

We value potential as well as experience. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, outgoing, and possess strong branding, marketing, sales, and customer relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Collaborate with Directors to develop strategies to exceed growth targets
  • Lead the business development team to increase leads, conversions, and manage pipelines for income growth
  • Drive income growth by leveraging market opportunities in line with targets and KPIs
  • Provide research and insights to promote innovation and thought leadership, including chairing discussions and setting up sector interest groups
  • Act as an external advocate for PARCOR through presentations and networking
  • Create and manage social media strategies and campaigns, positioning PARCOR as a thought leader
  • Research and secure new business tenders, frameworks, DPS, and accreditations
  • Organize and coordinate business and social events
  • Build and promote the corporate brand as a brand ambassador
  • Work with teams and stakeholders to set strategic direction for business development
  • Manage relationships with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders
  • Coach and manage team members to ensure effective lead generation and sales processes
  • Develop understanding of market and client sector needs
  • Participate in senior management meetings, contribute to organizational strategies, and be involved in project teams
  • Coordinate with other departments for product launches and value proposition articulation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: -

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related fields
  • MBA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in Social Housing, Surveying, and Retrofit
  • Brand building capabilities
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proactive in identifying marketing and business opportunities
  • Experience in sales pipeline management and delivering income growth
  • Understanding of sales processes and sector networks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong questioning, listening, and communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Relationship-building skills
