Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience within BI, MI, or Data Analytics leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL/T-SQL, database design, and data warehousing principles.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Power Query, and reporting tools.
• Experience with Azure data environments and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual BI workplan to meet business requirements.
• Oversee governance and QA of management information and performance reporting.
• Lead the design, maintenance, and improvement of reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Manage relationships with software providers and bespoke reporting requirements.
• Drive innovation in reporting methodologies and BI platforms.
• Coordinate and prioritise ad hoc data requests with timely delivery.
• Maintain data storage, archiving, and change control processes.
• Produce forecasting models and BI insights to support operational planning.
• Contribute to business cases, service development, and tender submissions.
• Represent the organisation at meetings as required.
• Lead, develop, and support a team of reporting and data professionals.
• Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training; ensure resilience.
