Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a seasoned Head of AI Centre of Excellence to drive agentic AI strategies across our UK teams. You will scale AI workflows, shape internal tooling, and align transformation with commercial priorities.

Reporting to the Director of AI, you will lead the CoE, drive governance, mentor staff, engage with executives, and represent Version 1 at conferences and in thought leadership, ensuring our AI-native operating model informs customer propositions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior AI/tech transformation roles.
• Experience leading AI-native operating models and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management at executive level with global teams.
• Proven ability to scale complex AI programs from pilots to enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Scale agentic AI workflows into core delivery.
• Lead the AI Centre of Excellence with budget authority.
• Define the internal AI tooling strategy and governance.
• Represent Version 1’s AI transformation externally via thought leadership.
