Databricks is seeking a Manager, Field Engineering (Data and AI) to lead a UK&I Pre-Sales Solutions Architect team focused on Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods accounts. You will drive strategic engagement, coach new sales and pre-sales colleagues, and partner with Sales to accelerate platform adoption.

You will report to the Director, Field Engineering and shape GTM approaches, balancing revenue growth with a strong customer-obsessed culture. Hybrid work model in the UK&I.

Qualifikationen

• AI native builder mindset
• Experience in a pre-sales leader role - developing, managing and building a team of Big Data, AI, or Cloud professionals.
• Experience in a customer-facing role across the Retail and CPG sectors in the UK and Ireland.
• Experience in developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies
• Experience in complex strategic accounts
• Experience scaling and mentoring field and technical teams
• Knowledgeable in data-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software models
• Great at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiency

Aufgaben

• Manage hiring, onboarding and building your Pre-Sales Solutions Architect team
• Where required, rapidly scale the designated team without sacrificing quality
• Lead by example by using AI to improve day-to-day workflows to scale the team output
• Build a collaborative culture within a rapid-growth team
• Support an increase in consumption revenue through Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles
• Promote a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organisation
• Demonstrate understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the region
• Build Databricks' brand in UK&I in partnership with Marketing and Sales
• Engage directly with key customer stakeholders to speed up projects and decisions
• Inspire customers as processes evolve to support growth
