Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Head of AI & Data Science in HR Data & Analytics to lead a global team turning workforce data into actionable insights. You will set the technical agenda, direct the full research lifecycle, and decide where to build or partner while balancing speed and governance.

You will design AI-native operating environments, model factories, and evaluation pipelines to drive commercial outcomes and enhanced employee experiences.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in AI and Data Science.
• Demonstrated success managing and leading teams.
• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• Expertise with modern AI/ML algorithms and software for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Hands-on experience with agentic engineering and multi-agent orchestration.
• Practical experience with statistical data analysis and experimental design.
• Professional software development experience in collaborative settings.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.
• Strong project management delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Act as hands-on leader delivering commercial outcomes using AI/ML across people-focused products.
• Direct full research lifecycle from framing problems to production results.
• Develop model factories and evaluation pipelines against product benchmarks.
• Advance agentic and evaluation-driven development in regulated environments.
• Translate models into insights reducing costs and improving experiences.
• Promote reuse of techniques and partner with vendors where value-add.
• Architect scalable, enterprise-quality data and analytics systems with self-service platforms.
• Align R&D resources with impactful products and measurable business outcomes.
• Communicate significance to senior leaders and pursue patents/publications where warranted.
• Ensure conformance with controls, policies, and procedures.
