You will set the technical agenda, steer the full research lifecycle, and decide where to build, reuse, or partner—balancing speed with governance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in AI and data science.
• Proven success in leading teams and delivering outcomes.
• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Expertise with modern AI/ML algorithms and software for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Hands-on experience with agentic engineering and multi-agent orchestration.
• Strong statistical data analysis and experimental design skills.
• Collaborative software development experience in teams.
• Excellent communication with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Act as hands-on leader delivering commercial outcomes using AI/ML across people-focused product areas.
• Direct the full research lifecycle from framing problems to production results.
• Develop model factories and evaluation pipelines for product benchmarks.
• Advance agentic and evaluation-driven development in a regulated environment.
• Translate models into insights that reduce costs and improve employee experiences.
• Promote reuse and partner with vendor solutions when valuable.
• Partner with technology teams to architect scalable enterprise data systems.
• Align research resources with measurable business impact.
• Communicate significance of work to senior leaders and pursue patents/publications.
• Ensure conformance with controls, policies, and procedures.
