The Pet Vet in South Ruislip, Greater London, is seeking a Head Nurse to lead our nursing team in a modern practice. You will shape professional development for RVNs, students, and VCAs while maintaining clinical excellence and compassionate care for patients.

The role offers a 4-day week with 9-hour shifts, a 1:4 weekend rota, and involvement in the duty night shift. Salary ranges from £34,000 to £42,000 DOE, reflecting experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Registered veterinary nurse (RVN) preferred.
• Experience leading a nursing team is advantageous.
• Ability to support development of RVNs, students and VCAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with a good level of clinical experience who is confident, self-motivated, engaging and keen to support the professional development of all our RVNs, students and VCAs.

Our Head Nurse salary ranges from £34,000 to £42,000 (DOE). The required working pattern is 4 days a week, working 9-hour shifts and 1:4 weekends. This equates to an average 40-hour week. They will also take part in our duty night rota.
