Job summary

Medivet & Partners is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse in Greater London to help establish the day-to-day running of the clinic and embed high clinical standards. You will lead nurse-led appointments, support surgeries and diagnostics, and develop preventative services while delivering excellent client care.

You will play a hands-on clinical role, drive nurse development, and help create a welcoming, efficient practice environment across a 36-hour week with some weekend and out-of-hours exposure.

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse-led appointments and schedule activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures.

• Support 24H hospital operations and weekend rotations.
• Contribute to creating an organised, efficient and welcoming practice environment.

As our Head Veterinary Nurse, you'll be instrumental in establishing the day-to-day running of the clinic. What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and dischargesDeliver exceptional care to your clients
• Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
• You also will be working 36 hours per week Mon-Fri over 4 or 5 days a week
• 1in6 Weekends in our 24H hospital at Kensington (Saturday and Sunday)
• To ensure that we deliver the best care to our clients , you would be supporting our 24H hospital over Bank holidays (2 Per year )
• You will assist our dedicated night teams during periods of increased caseload(2-3 weeks of On-call duty)
• Weekend and hospital work provides valuable exposure to more complex cases while giving you the opportunity to work alongside and build relationships with colleagues across the wider region.
