We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Head RVN to lead a fantastic nursing team at a well-established, modern veterinary practice in Bristol.
This role has become available due to the relocation of the current Head Nurse, creating an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership position within a supportive and progressive team.
As Head RVN, you’ll play a key role in leading the nursing team and supporting the delivery of consistently high standards of clinical care and customer service. You’ll be joining a friendly team who are passionate about their patients, their clients and supporting one another.
We’re looking for an RVN with a strong level of clinical experience who is:
Confident and self-motivated
A natural leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others
Engaging, approachable and supportive
Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
Keen to support the ongoing professional development of RVNs, student nurses and VCAs
Organised and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment
Previous leadership or senior nursing experience would be advantageous, but we’re also keen to hear from experienced RVNs who are ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 depending on experience
Working pattern: 4 days per week
Shifts: 9-hour shifts
Weekends: 1:4 weekends
Duty nights: On a rotational basis
