Job summary

purovets in Bristol is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead our nursing team and uphold exceptional clinical care and customer service. The role offers a 39-hour week with a 1:4 weekend rota in a modern, well-equipped practice.

You will oversee RVNs, students and VCAs, nurture leadership skills, and contribute to an excellent patient and client experience within a family-owned veterinary group.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a good level of clinical experience who is confident, self‑motivated, engaging and keen to support the professional development of all our RVNs, students and VCAs.

The Rota:

• 39 hours a week
• 4 days a week, working 9-hour shifts
• Duty nights on rotation
• 1:4 weekends
