Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Head Housekeeper for our care homes in the United Kingdom. You’ll lead the housekeeping team, setting high standards to provide a safe, clean and respectful environment for Residents.

You’ll manage rotas, supervise laundry, order supplies, and ensure infection control and COSHH procedures are followed. The role requires strong organisational skills, kindness, and safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing housekeeping teams and schedules.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and COSHH requirements.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage cleaning rota and daily schedules.
• Lead by example and support the team.
• Oversee laundry for personal and shared items.
• Order cleaning products and supplies.
• Follow and update infection control procedures.
• Keep records and perform cleaning checks.
• Ensure adherence to safety and COSHH guidelines.
