Job summary

The Willows Care Home in Hinckley, Leicestershire, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Head Housekeeper. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across the home, coordinating daily tasks and improving resident experience.

Contracted to 32 hours per week with 7‑day flexibility. Enhanced DBS, uniform, discounts and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of cleaning standards, hygiene and infection control.
• Ability to manage workload, priorities and team performance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team across the home.
• Oversee cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Coordinate daily operations and ensure tasks meet infection control standards.
• Monitor quality, manage supplies and provide training and guidance.
