Platinum Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Head Housekeeper for a luxury London property. The role targets an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Head Housekeeper ready to advance to their first Head of Housekeeping position.

You will support a Senior Manager, lead a dedicated team and uphold exceptional standards across a large-scale operation, with a strong benefits package and clear career development in luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or senior housekeeping experience within a luxury property.
• Experience in a medium to large-scale operation, ideally with 200+ bedrooms.
• The ambition and confidence to progress into your first Head Housekeeper position.
• Excellent communication skills and conversational fluency in English.
• Confidence using hotel systems; knowledge of Knowcross would be advantageous.
• A hands-on approach and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and deputising for the Senior Manager when required.
• Leading the onboarding, training and development of new team members.
• Supervising room attendants, porters and linen attendants.
• Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to maintain exceptional standards.
• Ensuring health and safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures are followed.
• Managing the ordering, receipt and distribution of cleaning supplies.
• Handling lost property in line with hotel procedures.
• Delivering outstanding guest service through attention to detail and teamwork.
