Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced supervisor ready to step up to a Head Housekeeper role in London. You will lead a dedicated housekeeping team across a luxury property, deputise for the Senior Manager, and drive onboarding, training and standards.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity in a large-scale operation (200+ bedrooms), with emphasis on guest service, safety, and meticulous attention to detail. Weekend flexibility is required in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or senior housekeeping experience within a luxury property.
• Excellent communication skills and conversational fluency in English.
• Experience in a medium to large-scale operation (200+ bedrooms preferred).
• Knowcross knowledge would be advantageous.
• Hands-on approach with weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and deputising for the Senior Manager when required.
• Leading the onboarding, training and development of new team members.
• Supervising room attendants, porters and linen attendants.
• Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to maintain high standards.
• Ensuring health and safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures are followed.
• Managing the ordering, receipt and distribution of cleaning supplies.
• Handling lost property in line with hotel procedures.
• Delivering outstanding guest service through attention to detail and teamwork.
