Palé Hall in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced, organised and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, five days over seven, with a competitive salary, gratuities, staff discounts and on-site parking. You will manage daily workloads, supervise staff and ensure excellent guest experiences.

Responsabilités

• Lead, supervise and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Plan daily workloads, rotas and staff allocation.
• Ensure rooms and communal areas are cleaned to a consistently high standard.
• Carry out regular quality and cleanliness inspections.
• Train, support and develop team members.
• Monitor stock levels and order cleaning products and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and used safely.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide a professional service.
• Follow health and safety, COSHH and infection-control procedures.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping issues and assist recruitment and onboarding.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout Palé Hall.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in maintaining excellent standards, enjoys supporting and developing a team, and can organise a busy housekeeping operation effectively.

This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week, five days over seven.

Job Description

As Head Housekeeper, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department. Your duties will include:

• Leading, supervising and motivating the housekeeping team
• Planning daily workloads, rotas and staff allocation
• Ensuring all rooms and communal areas are cleaned and presented to a consistently high standard
• Carrying out regular quality and cleanliness inspections
• Training, supporting and developing members of the housekeeping team
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning products, linen and other supplies as required
• Ensuring equipment is maintained and used safely
• Working closely with other departments to ensure an efficient and professional service
• Ensuring health and safety, COSHH and infection-control procedures are followed
• Responding promptly and professionally to any housekeeping issues
• Supporting recruitment, induction and performance management within the department
