Job summary

Agincare's Lansdowne care home in the UK is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to help keep resident areas clean, inviting and safe.

You will work 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with a positive attitude and pride in your work. Prior housekeeping experience in a care home is preferred.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK for 12 months or more.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.
• Able to work 36 hours per week including alternate weekends.
• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a care home.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by cleaning communal areas to a high standard.
• Care for residents' rooms with dusting, polishing and vacuuming.
• Collaborate with management to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
• Show kindness and connection with residents in daily duties.

Job description

• Creating a welcoming environment - keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride - dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents' rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together - collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness - sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
