Job summary

Norton Lees Care Home in Sheffield is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will oversee room care, ensure high hygiene standards, and work closely with management to uphold safety practices.

The role offers a 40-hour contract with an hourly rate of £13.12, plus benefits including a refer-a-friend scheme, funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5, Blue Light Card discounts, and a company pension.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping communal areas clean, tidy and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues

• Provide room care with pride—dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents' rooms to a high standard with safety signage
• Collaborate with the management team to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Share kindness and connection with residents during day-to-day tasks
