Agincare is recruiting a Bank Housekeeper for Lansdowne Hill Care Home in Swindon. If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoy making a difference through small daily acts of kindness, this role welcomes you to join a supportive team.

You will be responsible for keeping communal areas spotless, caring for residents’ rooms, and working with the management team to uphold hygiene standards. Weekday and weekend shifts are available; prior housekeeping experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' right to work in the UK.
• Positive attitude and pride in work.
• Bank housekeeper role to cover on-demand shifts including weekdays and weekends.
• Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping communal areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Care for residents' rooms with dusting, polishing and vacuuming to a high standard.
• Collaborate with the management team to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Provide kind, friendly interactions with residents to enhance their day.

What we’re looking for

• A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude and pride in your work
• This is a bank housekeeper role to work as and when required to include weekday and weekends shifts
• Previous experience working as a housekeeper beneficial

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
