Job summary

The Inn Collection Group in Northallerton is looking for a Head Housekeeper who will ensure a spotless, welcoming environment across our pub with rooms. You will lead a professional housekeeping team, maintain high standards, and respond quickly to guest requests while upholding safety and hygiene guidelines.

You will train staff, manage linen and supplies, and report to the General Manager with regular updates to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service mindset.
• Ability to lead by example.
• Experience in housekeeping supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of rooms and public areas to high standards.
• Promptly report maintenance issues to the General Manager.
• Manage linen, supplies and inventory for housekeeping.
• Train new and existing staff to ensure quality and consistency.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team to create memorable guest experiences.
• Provide regular updates to the General Manager on operations.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Head Housekeeper, you’ll bring your friendly, detail-oriented nature to the role, ensuring a spotless, welcoming environment. Calm under pressure, you’ll exceed guest expectations by reacting promptly to requests and maintaining high standards throughout.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you’ll guide with professionalism, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail. Your duties will include overseeing the cleaning of rooms and public areas, promptly reporting maintenance issues, managing linen and supplies, and training new and existing staff. You’ll follow safety guidelines, work closely with the team to create memorable visits, and provide regular updates to the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.
