Job summary

The Commissioners Quay Inn, part of The Inn Collection Group, is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join our close-knit team in Blyth. You will clean rooms to high standards, maintain public areas, and manage linen and supplies to ensure memorable guest stays.

We value a calm, detail-focused approach and pride ourselves on award-winning hospitality. A supportive housekeeping team and reliable shift patterns help you balance work with your personal life.

Qualifications

• Friendly and detail oriented, with a passion for guest comfort.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to work to high cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to high standards and maintain tidiness throughout the property.
• Keep public areas clean, welcoming and well organised.
• Promptly report maintenance issues and stock levels (linen, towels, room supplies).
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a positive team environment.

A successful Housekeeper will be friendly and detail-oriented, able to remain calm under pressure and exceed guest expectations by responding promptly. As a key member of the Housekeeping team, you’ll work collaboratively, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Your duties will include cleaning rooms to our high standards, ensuring public areas are clean and welcoming, and promptly reporting maintenance issues. You’ll follow safety guidelines, work to create memorable visits for our guests and manage your stocks of linen, towels, and room supplies effectively.
