Job summary

Professional Security is seeking a Head Door Supervisor to lead the venue security team in Liverpool. You will set standards for professionalism, safety and customer service while ensuring a smooth operation across shifts.

Responsibilities include managing entry points, conducting ID checks, monitoring capacity and responding to incidents. You will mentor on-shift staff and uphold licensing conditions, policies and procedures, enabling consistently safe and welcoming venues.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor licence is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality security or door supervision.
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
• Ability to pass BS7858 screening and vetting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and late-night shifts.
• Must provide a full 5-year employment history and address history.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage venue security teams on shift.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance and conduct.
• Manage entry and exit points safely and effectively.
• Conduct ID checks, searches and admissions control.
• Monitor venue capacity and customer behaviour.
• Support crowd management and customer engagement.
• Provide mentoring to Door Supervisors on shift.
• Complete incident reports and venue documentation.
• Ensure licensing conditions and company procedures are followed.
