Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Need To Do:

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understand financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions on your feet.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on caring and consideration.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs effectively and adapt to changing demands.
