Are you passionate about providing a high-quality dining experience? The Clog and Billycock, Blackburn is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our culinary team. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. We are looking for someone who shares our love for food, embraces creativity, and has exceptional culinary skills.
The Clog and Billycock, nestled in the picturesque village of Pleasington, is a true gem. Inside, you’ll find open fires, cosy rugs, and original wooden and flagged stone floors. Our bar boasts an impressive selection of cask ales, malts, gins, and around 50 wines to suit every palate.
Outside, our stunning terrace offers a sun-soaked haven in summer, transforming into a covered seating area with an open fire during cooler months.
Our menus change with the seasons, providing opportunities for our Head Chef to showcase creativity and personal touch.

About you...
Our kitchens are dynamic and fast-paced. You should have experience as a head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager, or senior sous chef in a busy, premium environment. You will be responsible for the food culture, working with the pub manager to drive the business, and formulating seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. Leadership, inclusivity, and business acumen are essential.
