Saputo is seeking an ambitious Head Chef for its award-winning Visitor Centre in Hawes, Yorkshire Dales. You will lead a passionate kitchen team, craft menus highlighting local produce, and drive quality, margins and guest satisfaction.

The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and focused on continuous improvement, safety, and cost efficiency. You’ll oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, motivate the team, develop new products and menus, and ensure budgets and health and safety standards are met,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience at Head Chef level in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven with strong leadership and communication.
• Ability to develop menus, costings and manage kitchen budgets.

Responsabilités

• Oversee smooth kitchen operations and deliver high standards of service.
• Lead day-to-day kitchen running, manage the team and training.
• Develop inspired menus using local produce and ensure costings and margins.
• Maintain HACCP, H&S compliance and high cleaning standards.
• Assist with recruitment, rota planning and staff development.
