The Barn Owl in Blacknest, part of Brunning and Price Pubs Ltd, is seeking a Head Chef to lead a dynamic kitchen team and drive menu development for premium dining. You will manage kitchen operations, uphold high standards of food quality and presentation, and partner with the pub manager to push the business forward.

Qualifications

• Experience as head chef, chef manager, or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh-food environment.
• Ability to drive food culture and seasonal menu development with a strong business sense.
• Excellent stock, GP, and labour control management.

Responsabilités

• Develop seasonal menus with Executive Chefs and lead menu execution.
• Oversee high-volume kitchen operations and maintain quality and presentation.
• Nurture and manage the kitchen team with strong leadership.
• Monitor stock, GP, and labour to optimize profitability.
