The Square in St Helier, part of Butcombe Group, is seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen and shape menus in a vibrant, growing venue. You will drive food quality, service standards and team development while delivering strong financial performance.

As the sole dedicated restaurant, you’ll have freedom to host supper clubs, lead a large kitchen team and deliver memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience leading a busy kitchen operation.
• Proven ability to manage food quality, safety and margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, consistent dishes.
• Own kitchen operations including food quality, safety, stock and labour control.
• Inspire and develop the team, fostering learning and progression.
• Drive menu execution, innovation and consistency across services.
• Manage budgets and margins while maintaining standards.
• Collaborate with GM to drive profitable performance.
• Create a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
