The Square in St Helier, part of Butcombe Group, is seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen and shape menus in a vibrant, growing venue. You will drive food quality, service standards and team development while delivering strong financial performance.

As the sole dedicated restaurant, you’ll have freedom to host supper clubs, lead a large kitchen team and deliver memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for an ambitious Head Chef to take The Square to the next level. As our only dedicated restaurant, this is a standout opportunity to make your mark with the freedom to shape menus, host supper clubs and lead a large kitchen team while driving sales and growth. • Leading the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food that keeps guests coming back for more.
• Taking ownership of all aspects of kitchen operations, from food quality and safety to stock and labour control.
• Inspiring, mentoring and developing your team, creating a culture of learning and progression.
• Driving menu execution, innovation and consistency across every service.
• Managing kitchen performance, budgets and food margins while maintaining exceptional standards.
• Working closely with the General Manager to deliver a successful and profitable business.
• Creating a positive, collaborative environment where great food and teamwork go hand in hand.
