Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a full-time Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Durano Lounge, a local café bar. The role is part of a growing hospitality brand with progression opportunities and a competitive package including bonus and overtime.

You will take ownership of the kitchen, recruit and coach your team, and ensure every dish leaves the pass to spec while maintaining high standards and strong KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef at a busy site.
• Able to lead a kitchen team, recruit and develop staff.
• Strong understanding of food quality, portion control and GP targets.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the kitchen at Durano Lounge and lead every shift from open to close.
• Recruit, develop and coach kitchen staff at all levels with clear development plans.
• Ensure menu specs are followed and dishes leave the pass to spec.
