Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Head Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen team across one of our pubs. You’ll set standards, drive a memorable dining experience, and work as part of the pub management team to raise the bar on food quality and guest satisfaction.

The role focuses on growing and retaining a motivated kitchen team, delivering exceptional food and service, and progressing within our pub network. We offer a range of benefits and career pathways across our sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Kitchen Manager/Head Chef role or progression from Sous/Second Chef.
• Ability to lead and develop a motivated kitchen team.
• Strong focus on food hygiene and high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Create a positive energy in the kitchen and drive a buzz in the team.
• Maintain high standards and ensure food quality and service speed targets are met.
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and wider pub team.
• Take pride in meals produced by you and your team.
