Job summary

Prezzo Italian in the United Kingdom is seeking a high-energy Head Chef to lead the kitchen with purpose. You’ll head the restaurant team, deliver Italian favourites like pasta and pizza, and ensure the kitchen runs with pride and consistency.

Contracted hours are 48 per week across five days, with shifts visible in a handy app. You’ll receive strong pay, tronc, and access to the Chef Accreditation Scheme that recognises great food standards and rewards growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• You understand stock, waste, labour and kitchen costs and know how to run an efficient operation.
• You care about food quality, consistency, cleanliness and food safety/HACCP.
• You’re a positive, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people and building a strong kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front to develop a brilliant kitchen team and work closely with the General Manager to make the restaurant a success.
• Deliver consistently great food while managing stock, waste and costs to maintain high kitchen standards.
• Ensure HACCP and cleanliness standards are met and upheld across the kitchen.
